Our four days experience about the chicks.

Kiora and welcome back bloggers .

On the 14th  of August Hay Park School had nine or ten chicks to hatch in their class.Every on was so excited about the baby chicks. When we got the eggs they were put in the incubator. If you don't know what a incubator is search it up.Yesterday the egg monitors got to hold the chick and put them in the box to clean it out.Today when i looked at the chicks they were so fluffy and cute.

Teaching the juniors in Bishop class

Ola bloggers and welcome back to week two!

Today my class and I worked alongside Bishop class (Year 2/3) as part of a Tuakana/Teina session.

Tuakana means your older brother or sister and Teina means you little sister or brother.

First we discussed how to be effective Tuakana. I learned that I have to be clear about what they are doing and my instructions have to be clear and to encourage them while they are talking.

The biggest challenge I came across was telling them what to do and how to do it.

Next week I am looking forward to seeing the juniors do there own stop go animation.

Thank you see you next time.
